This is just a story im writing. Dedicated to James Patterson.
Prologue
My name is rhia and im 13. When i was a baby i got bird dna put in me so now i have wings and can fly i am also a demigod, a half human half greek god or godess. the same thing happened to my friends Max age 14, Fang age 14, Iggy age 14, Nudge age 12, Gazzy age 8, and Angel age 7. We met up with some of my demigod god friends, Percy and Annabeth. And their friend Grover, who is a half goat half human called a satyr. Now we are trying to fight an evil Titan monster named Kronos and an evil company called itex at the same time.
Chapter 1
I woke up to electronic beeps and the smell of hand sanitizer. I sat up and looked around to see that I was in a hospital.
Just then a doctor walked in. "Lay back down young lady." She scolded. "You got hurt very badly."
"How?" I asked, " 'casue don't feel anything wrong."
"You were in a car accident." ?
"BUT THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH ME!"
"Let me show you." The doctor said handing me a mirror.
"Still nothing wrong with me." I said sarcastically.
"Oh! How did that happen?" She asked looking very confused.
"I heal really fast. Have you not noticed anything different about me?" I told her.
"Oh, yes. I'd been meaning to ask you a few questions." she said looking at me."Why do I here air moving in your stomach? How fast does your heart normally beat? What is your normal temperature?"
"I have air sacs. My heart beats like this." I demonstrated by snapping my fingers. "My temperature is normally 100. Does that answer all of your questions?"
"One more." She told me. "Where are your parents, because you aren't old enough to drive?"
"My parents are... uh... out of town and I... uh... got kidnapped." I replied. "They must have ran off after the car wrecked."
"Is there anyone you can contact?"
"Yes. I can contact my aunt Alice." I said reaching for the phone.
I called Max, my bird kid friend, and Annabeth, my demigod friend. I told them to come to the hospital I am in and break me out this friday, tomorrow night, at 10 pm.
Chapter 2
When my friends got here we climbed out of the window and went into the woods next door.
"Okay guys," I started. "Let me introduce you. This is Percy, Annabeth, and Grover." I pointed to each person. "And this is Max, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gazzy, Angel, and Total, their flying dog."
"So how do we plan on defeating Itex?" asked Max at the same time Annabeth asked, "How do we plan on beating Kronos?"
"Wait who's Kronos?" Max asked while Annabeth asked, "What's Itex?"
"Kronos is an evil Titan monster and Itex is an evil company. And they both want to take over the world!" I explained.
"So where are we going next?" Total asked. I know what your all thinking. A talking dog! But newsflash we're not exactly what you would call normal.
"I was thinking maybe going to England." I told them. "I was thinking maybe we could blow up Itex headquarters there. And I saw that there's a Titan monster rising somewhere there, in my dreams, again."
"How do we plan on getting there?" Percy asked.
"On a plane of course." I answered."Now let's go find a hotel and get some sleep."
We found a cheap hotel with a snack machine. We had some snacks and went to sleep.
In the morning we jacked an old 70's van off the side of the road and headed off to the nearest airport.
With the help of Angel we got first class tickets, two meals each, and got to bring Total without a pet carrier. It would be a six hour trip.
We kept fighting over who got what seat. In the end Annabeth, Grover, Angel and Total who shared a seat, Fang, and I got window seats.
Iggy sat next to me, Max next to Fang, Percy next to Annabeth, Nudge next to Angel, and Gazzy next to Grover. Once seating was arranged we put our packs in the storage compartments.
On the way there Iggy and I held hands and talked about explosives and stuff. Max and Fang held hands and talked to each other. Grover and Gazzy watched a movie. Angel and Nudge played with a couple of Barbie dolls while Total took a snooze. And Percy and Annabeth were playing rock paper scissors and arguing...again.
Once we go to England we went to an internet cafe and looked up where the Itex headquarters are.
"Says here it's in London somewhere. Guess we better get going." Fang told us while we ate muffins and drank tea.
We found a junkyard and snuck past the security gaurd. Then we found some old cars but a bunch of peices were missing.
"We could take the engine out of the Volvo and the steering wheel out of the Lexus and put it into that van." Nudge suggested since she knows all about cars.
"Let's get to it." I said as i popped open the hood of the Volvo.
When we were done we pushed the car onto the road and Max hotwired it.
"Now let's see if this baby works." I said kinda doubting it.
But it started up and we all piled in. I was driving, Max was next to me with Total in her lap, Iggy behind me, Fang behind Max and Nudge and Angel between them, Annabeth, Percy, Grover, and Gazzy were squeezed into the back.
"Ok guys. We're here!" I yelled waking them up as I put the van in park. "This is the forest near Itex headquarters and where the Titan is stirring." I finished.
"Let's set up camp here and call it a night." Percy said and everyone agreed.
We started a fire and were cooking hotdogs on sticks for dinner when I heard something.
"Guys do you hear that?" I asked still listening to what sounded like footsteps. They all nodded yes.
Then something unexpected happened... Artemis and her hunters came into the clearing (yes the artemis as in the greek goddess of the hunt).
"Hello we were just comming through." Artemis explained. "We're looking for the stirring Titan."
"Oh I know where that is. It's over that way," I said pointing in the direction of it. "Under a valcano. And, oh, hi Thalia."
"Hi and thanks." Thalia smiled a said back.
"We will be on our way now good luck." Artemis said as they ran off.
Then everyone got ready for bed. Iggy and I took the first lookout. We talked about everything that was happening between us and the others.
Then we went to sleep when Max and Fang took the secaond shift.
